The BC LIVE Music Preservation Society was conceived from a desire for music lovers to hear more live music and from musicians to play more live music. In this era of techno-music and disc jockeys we feel that preservation is indeed what this society is about
We want to ensure that the energy that passes from the musicians finger tips to the dancers feet continues to flow and grow for us and future generations
Our Mission
to promote live music- to provide a cooperative association and referral service of and for musicians
- to provide a safe and friendly enviroment for our members to enjoy LIVE music
Our Goals
to hold monthly fundraising dances and membership drives - to build our membership to over 500 persons
- to run weekly jams
- to coordinate musical showcases of local and touring bands
- to publish a quarterly newsletter with a calendar of events and a band directory
- to hold a summer outdoors festival
- to secure our own venue
